"My father was a
victim of the terror attack in Rishon Letzion and me and my family wish to
thank you for the care package that you brought to the Tel HaShomer
hospital. Thank you very much." Ora Nuriel, injured in the recent attack on Ben
Yehudah street, called to express her thanks. She was very touched that
people had thought of her and sent her a package for Shavuot. The gift had
made her holiday extra special.
Gila Weiss, a 27 year-old woman who was injured
in the bombing next to Machaneh Yehudah market, received her package right
before she was scheduled for laser surgery. The delivery eased her
nervousness and lifted her spirits tremendously. It helped give her the
confidence that she had needed at such a difficult moment.
Shlomo Dror, his daughter was killed in a bombing
a few years back, called to say that he was extremely touched that people
had remembered him and expressed concern.
"I wish to thank you
all for the cakes and chocolate you sent me, and especially for your warm
thoughts and the messages of support for my recovery from the terrorist
attack on the "Moment" coffee shop in Jerusalem." "I received your
delivery a couple of days ago. I was so surprised! I want to thank all the
people who volunteer for this organization. Thanks for your caring and
support. " "I want you to know
that the gift packages you wonderful people made possible for us to bring
to our hospitals for those wounded in terrorist attacks, were greatly
appreciated. For my part I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity
to do this act of kindness. I went to the hospitals to strengthen the
injured and I left being strengthened by them."
